Note Learning

One helpful thing for any guitarist to learn is every note on the fretboard. Sometimes staring at a diagram or writing these things out doesn’t seem to help much.

The purpose of this exercise is to help learn those notes. Between the open string and the twelfth fret lies every note. Pick a note at random and play that note on every string.

The idea is to do a few a day every day until you learn them all. Boring? Yes. Effective? Definitely.

Here is the guitar tab:

     E G A
e|------0--------3--------5-
B|-----5--------8-------10--
G|----9--------0-------2----
D|---2--------5-------7-----
A|--7-------10-------0------
E|-0-------3--------5-------
