C Major and You

This one is a little different. I’ve been struggling to learn music theory for awhile now and I thought I’d share what little progress I’ve made with you guys. The ditty itself is just a C major scale along with a few chords that fit that scale. Scales? Chords? Theory?

A Chinese Scale Ditty

Another one with a five fret stretch. In first position to boot. Took me forever and a day to do this one. Pretty much I was trying to create chord like things out of wierd scales. This comes from an A chinese scale.

Chromatic Scale

Why didn’t anyone teach me this one earlier!?! A great lesson to learn for how the notes relate to each other on the fretboard and fun to play as well. I dug this up at cyberfret.

Pentatonic Blues

An absolute must for anyone learning to play blues or rock guitar. If you only learn one scale this is the one to learn. Done here in single and triple then run down the neck.
