I found this site awhile back and have listened to quite a few concerts since then. Wolfgang’s Concert Vault features over 300 recorded concerts free for listening online. I think tonight I’ll listen to Led Zeppelin at Fillmore West.

Li Jie, a chinese guitarist, playing Paganini Caprice no 24. The recording was initially made for a guitar instruction book when she was 14 years old.
Gilmour to release Barrett single
David Gilmour is releasing his recent recordings of three Syd Barrett songs, first as digital downloads on 25 December, and then as a three track EP, titled Arnold Layne, available in shops on 26 December in 7″ vinyl and CD formats.
Plant a Tree
I was sitting watching a movie one day and one of the commercials that it started with had some sort of Earth day theme going on. Clearly it flashed on the screen plant a tree with some sort of subliminal waves in the background.
Because ever since then I’ve been weirded out by that phrase. The past few days they seem to be everywhere. I saw a banner ad which said the same. A web page had a tree for a background. Some guy wanted a tree, or a giraffe which is quite tree-like.
I think everyone should plant a tree. In the middle of some dirt road somewhere that way it doubly stops pollution.
