This one is a little wierd. I saw a video a few days ago where a guy had a capo covering only the top four strings and thought that was neat. I found that if I turned my capo around I could achieve the same effect. I imagine he was using some sort of special tool for the job.

On top of that I was trying to play The Entertainer before I started working on the videos. The Entertainer is drop D and so are all the ditties I wrote and recorded that day.

Does anyone have any information about these hybrid capos? It was something completely new to me.

He speaks! I think this is the first time I’ve ever said anything. This video took me a few tries, and on this particular take the fridge turned on just as I mashed the record button. As a result I lost around thirty seconds of precious record time.

I wrote this one while I was watching Heroes on NBC. Pretty good series. I still have a few more to go but so much to do on this website that It’s going to have to wait.

I call this Crow because the chord and picking pattern I’m using is very similar to The Beatles Blackbird. I must have played that second half a dozen different ways before finally choosing.
