Bonjour!

Some guitar blog in France threw a blurb up about this site and suddenly I get hits from around the world! Merci! In addition I got my first comment (that wasn’t spam).

A friend of mine also pointed out another blog quite similar to this one. Jonathon Coulton just recently got finished with his “Thing a Week.” Each week for a year he posted a new song to his website. You can listen to all of them for free there.

Some of you might be interested in this article about DRM from Peter Jenner. Peter was Pink Floyd’s first manager. I find this interview a bit too lax and almost drunk to really make much sense but others seemed to like it.

And finally during the past week I’ve been experimenting with Digg, Netscape and YouTube trying to get some coverage on the site. Digg I’ve tried twice now to no avail. I think it’s just way too much of tech site to get any musical love out of it. Netscape doesn’t really seem much of anything, and it really is a total rip-off of Digg.

Now YouTube on the other hand has been great. Every day I get a steady stream of visitors who view my clips there. I’ve had a few good ratings, quite a few views and of course I’ve had bad ratings and wierd comments. Overall though I’m quite happy with the results. You can catch all my videos in my user profile.

Celestial Muse Part 4

Finally the semester (and this rant) was at an end. I remember me saying she wouldn’t come back and visit me. I remember her doing so a few days later.

I never saw her again. It seems every now and then I see her out of the corner of my eye only to have it be someone completely different. Sometimes I wonder if she ever existed.
