I can’t even begin to describe it, or tell you what scale it lies in. I just know it’s fun to play.

Alright I’ve come back to this and apparently it is a B Altered scale? At least that’s what the Reverse Guitar Scale gizmo tells me. I’m planing on doing several articles on music and chord theory as I learn the ugly subject.

C Harmonics

One day I decided to take guitar lessons and one of the tricks I learned was how to do harmonics anywhere. I was so delighted I immediately came up with this lick.

Using your forefinger lightly tap the string exactly twelve frets up from where the chord lies while striking the string with your thumb. For reference I’ve included the fret where you need to lightly tap the string in parenthesis.
